# ATGC Montpellier - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `atgc-montpellier.fr` ## Description ATGC is a bioinformatics platform developed by the MAB team and hosted by LIRMM in Montpellier, France. It provides researchers with software, datasets and project support grounded in the team’s research expertise. Its tools address areas including phylogenetics, molecular evolution, genome dynamics, comparative and functional genomics, and transcriptome analysis. Users can access software for online analysis or download it, with graphical interfaces available for many tools. The platform also offers searchable online databases and downloadable datasets, as well as support for its services and projects, particularly those involving next-generation sequencing (NGS). ATGC’s services enable researchers to explore their own data, including through algorithms for phylogenetic tree building and genome assembly and analysis. Computing resources are provided in collaboration with the ISDM-MESO centre at the University of Montpellier, supporting efficient analysis with high-performance computing, data storage and processing, and cloud infrastructure.
