Guided by the association’s founding purpose—to preserve and perpetuate Scottish social customs—the event celebrates Scottish traditions and the heritage of the local community. Its vision centers on bringing people together for a family-oriented gathering in Athena City Park, welcoming participants and visitors from across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. The festival’s activities include traditional athletics, piping competitions, Highland dancing, a parade, storytelling, clan gatherings, music, entertainment, food, and social events. Past programming has also featured a Scottish dinner with dishes such as meat pies, sausage rolls, and shepherd’s pie. Competitions recognize performers and athletes, while educational activities share information about Scottish history, customs, and culture. The association aims to offer engaging events, encourage understanding and respect for Scottish traditions, and support the festival through fundraising. Its website has also promoted festival merchandise, including a specially designed Tree of Life blanket, and provided vendor information and applications. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Holidays and Seasonal Events _(under Community and Society)_ - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🍿 Performing Arts _(under Arts and Entertainment)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/AthenaCaledonianGames) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idQ22Pnbbw/w/681/h/60/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792786412211) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idQ22Pnbbw/w/124/h/124/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792786412377) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Black | #020202 | dark | | Wild Sand | #f6f6f6 | light | ## Fonts - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
