## Description

Athens Science Festival is a public festival that brings science, technology, innovation and the arts to audiences in Athens through engaging, accessible experiences. Its programme features hands-on experiments, science shows, interactive exhibits, workshops and presentations designed for people of different ages. The festival also offers school visits, creating opportunities for students to explore scientific ideas through practical activities, and career-orientation sessions that introduce young people to potential paths in science and technology.

The 2025 edition, titled The Christmas Lab, is scheduled for 18–21 December at the Athens Conservatoire, a venue in central Athens with cultural and historical significance. The festive programme invites visitors to discover science and innovation in a Christmas-themed setting. Teachers, researchers, science enthusiasts, families and other participants can take part in the festival’s activities and connect with others who share an interest in discovery. The organisation also invites contributors to apply to participate and welcomes volunteers. Through its events and educational experiences, Athens Science Festival aims to spark curiosity and make scientific concepts engaging for a broad community.
