## Description

Athletes Serving Athletes (ASA) is an organization that helps people living with limited mobility train for and take part in mainstream running events alongside volunteer runners. Its mission is to enrich athletes’ quality of life by making the experience of running and crossing the finish line possible as a team. Through its Wingman Program, ASA connects athletes with volunteer runners who support their participation in races and group runs. The organization serves communities across Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, with local groups and events in areas including Baltimore, Anne Arundel County, Montgomery County, Northern Virginia, and South Central Pennsylvania.

ASA offers opportunities for runners and non-runners to get involved, including volunteering at events, supporting athletes, donating, and joining its corporate partnership team. Its calendar features group runs, race events, and fundraisers, including RunFest events and the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend Charity Runners Program. ASA also provides resources for athletes, volunteers, and Wingmen, shares stories and photos from its community, and sells branded gear through its online store.
