## Description

Athlon Jiu-Jitsu is a veteran-owned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts academy in North Central San Antonio, Texas. Serving teens and adults aged 13 and older, the academy offers evening training Monday through Friday, with classes designed to fit working adults’ schedules. Its approach emphasizes structured instruction, discipline, and a supportive training community.

The academy is led by owner and head instructor Jamie Miller, a fourth-degree black belt, and is affiliated with Chris Haueter’s Combat Base. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes are gi-focused and open to all levels, covering fundamentals, technique, and live sparring. Beginner-oriented MMA Fundamentals classes introduce striking, grappling, and conditioning in a structured environment. The coaching team also includes instructors, an MMA coach, and a strength coach.

New students can book an orientation to meet the coaches, tour the academy, and learn how training works, then begin with a 30-day trial month before choosing a membership. Athlon offers a welcoming place to develop skills, train with purpose, and become part of a dedicated team.
