## Description

ATL Kung Fu Sérézin, the Association Thieulâm du Lion, is a nonprofit martial arts school based in Sérézin-du-Rhône, in the Pays de l’Ozon area. Founded in 2019, it teaches traditional Chinese martial arts through the Thieulâm Nam-Phaï style, which draws on Southern Shaolin and Vietnamese martial arts. Classes are offered for adults and children, and newcomers can try a session for free.

The school’s approach combines technical variety with practical skills, including self-defence and kick-and-punch combat. Students may also explore styles such as Choy Lee Fut, Hung Gar and Wing Chun, and progress to training with weapons including the staff, sabre, spear and sword. The association also offers Lion Dance, a traditional performance practice featured in its activities and events.

ATL Kung Fu Sérézin emphasizes perseverance, respect and personal development, while helping students build fitness, balance, mental focus and cohesion. The school is affiliated with the Cercle Thieulâm, a network of 17 schools, as well as the FFKDA and FFAEMC, and is supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.
