## Description

Atlantic is a European venture capital firm focused on backing ambitious founders, scientists, and builders developing technologies and ideas beyond established categories. The firm leads pre-seed investment rounds across Europe, aiming to make the first investment early and with conviction rather than waiting for a venture to fit a conventional mould. Atlantic describes its role as writing the first cheque for teams pursuing difficult, uncertain, or unconventional opportunities.

Beyond capital, Atlantic supports portfolio companies with practical help in areas including recruiting, strategy, and operations, and presents itself as a founder-friendly partner from a venture’s earliest stages. Its portfolio spans fields such as food technology, energy and climate, consumer experiences, artificial intelligence and computing, industrial technology, robotics, and the future of work. Featured companies include Choco, which brings the food industry online; GetYourGuide, which focuses on travel experiences; Softr, which offers a no-code platform for building business software; Wandelbots, which works to make robotics accessible; and Zenjob, which provides temporary staffing services to businesses.
