## Description

Atlas Publications is a curated art and publishing practice based in New York City and Philadelphia. It explores how images, objects, and writing can be brought together to create systems of meaning. Its work includes editions, graphic studies, projects about species and abandoned houses, and the Persona series, alongside ongoing and upcoming projects. Out in Orbit is an upcoming editorial project, while Project 001 is an ongoing series of illustrations. Atlas Publications also presents work connected to Want Studio, an independent design practice led by Justin Carey. Want Studio creates clear, durable visual identities through a focused process, with client projects and independent work informing one another. Its approach emphasizes craft, research, confident design, and identity systems intended to connect with people and improve conditions. The related Want Font project explores type design, specializing in unique, handcrafted fonts. Through its publishing, illustration, design, and type projects, Atlas Publications brings together creative practices centered on visual communication and thoughtful exploration.
