## Description

Atlas Research Group is a federated research group developing technology for a regenerative era. Its work brings together research, design, and technological stewardship to support human and ecological well-being. The group creates sovereign infrastructures and tools for real-time information intelligence, high-dimensional mapping, and automated coordination, helping organizations make complex systems more visible and actionable without oversimplifying them.

Atlas works with ecological and bioregional organizations, research institutes, civic networks, and philanthropic and cultural foundations. Its approach emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, trust, and shared purpose, drawing on systems thinking and biomimetic principles to build frameworks that can learn and adapt with their users and environments. The group aims to align data, design, ethics, and intelligence in service of collective understanding and coordination.

Its activities include research, prototyping, and the development of open-source infrastructure for collective intelligence and sovereign innovation. Atlas describes its purpose as enabling organizations to navigate complexity, strengthen agency, and contribute to a transition toward regenerative systems. It also invites prospective collaborators to discuss projects and explore working together.
