## Description

Atletika pro děti is a project of the Czech Athletics Association that promotes athletics as an enjoyable, high-quality leisure activity for children. It supports regular athletics clubs and the early sports development of young children in athletics clubs and teams, while helping families, coaches and teachers find suitable opportunities and guidance. Its website includes a searchable directory of children’s athletics programs across regions and towns, with age categories to help users identify relevant groups. The project also provides information about athletics for beginners and school athletics, alongside methodological materials, games, equipment guidance, and training courses and professional seminars for coaches and educators. Children can take part in competitions and events, including athletics activities linked to community races and regional meets. News, photographs and videos share stories from clubs and highlight activities around the country. Through these practical resources and events, Atletika pro děti connects children, families, schools and athletics organizations, encouraging young people to discover movement and experience a range of athletic disciplines.
