## Description

The ATOM Project, short for American Truly Open Models, is an initiative advocating investment in leading, openly available AI models developed in the United States. It aims to reinvigorate American AI research and strengthen the country’s position in a field where the project says U.S. open models are losing ground in performance and adoption.
