## Description

ATUVIBI is Spain’s first patient association dedicated to tumors of the bile ducts, including cholangiocarcinoma, gallbladder carcinoma and tumors of the ampulla of Vater. Founded in 2024 with support from oncologists, researchers and specialists at leading Spanish hospitals, the association focuses on cancers that are rare, difficult to diagnose and often identified at advanced stages. Its mission is to support people affected by these tumors while raising awareness and advancing research.

ATUVIBI offers information and practical resources for patients and families, including a newly diagnosed patient kit, webinars, guides and links to specialist services. It also encourages patients to make informed decisions and aims to improve quality of life through guidance and accompaniment. The association promotes research through initiatives such as its ConCiencia grant, which supports projects focused on improving diagnosis and treatment. Patients and supporters can contribute through membership, volunteering, collaboration and donations, including monthly microdonations. ATUVIBI also shares news and organizes events with partner organizations to foster connection and support across the digestive cancer community.
