Audubon Artists is a brand that has been dedicated to artistic progress since 1942. They believe in encouraging and giving credit to forward-looking artists who contribute to the world's progress. With a focus on evolution rather than revolution, Audubon Artists believes that steady improvement is the key to success. They value artistic liberalism and reject extreme ideologies, instead offering respect and encouragement to all artists striving for solid progress. As a nonprofit organization based in New York, Audubon Artists nurtures the importance of art through Annual Exhibitions and Awards that support and encourage artists to continue creating. They accept artwork submissions in six mediums, including Aquamedia, Collage & Mixed Media, Graphics, Oil & Acrylics, Pastels, and Sculpture. Their membership consists of three classes: ELECTED, HONORARY, and ASSOCIATE MEMBERS. Elected Members have control over the organization, while Honorary Membership is bestowed on past Presidents and those who have demonstrated outstanding distinction and service. Associate Members are adjunct members who have not attained Elected status. With an involved executive board and various committees, Audubon Artists maintains a structure that supports its mission. They hold an Annual Exhibition with a jury selection and award a substantial number of awards to exhibiting artists. In addition, they have a modern website, social media presence, and a YouTube channel to connect with artists and art enthusiasts. With a focus on progress with restraint and imagination under control, Audubon Artists provides a platform for artists to contribute to the future of the art world.
