## Description

Au Fil de l'Ourcq (AFLO) is a dedicated association focused on the preservation and enhancement of the natural, historical, and cultural heritage of the Ourcq Canal and its tributaries. Founded on June 8, 2002, AFLO has been actively involved in promoting the unique ecological and cultural significance of this region for over 20 years. The association organizes various initiatives aimed at both conserving the landscape and educating the public about the historical relevance of the canal, including its innovative hydraulic systems from the 19th century.

AFLO offers guided tours to historical elevation plants, nature walks exploring local flora and fauna, and research opportunities that invite community participation. Their commitment to restoring and revitalizing the area involves recruiting volunteers across diverse fields such as history, nature conservation, and photography. Through these efforts, Au Fil de l'Ourcq seeks to foster a deeper connection between the community and their heritage, while also enhancing local tourism and economic growth. Join AFLO to contribute to these meaningful projects and help preserve the legacy of the Ourcq Canal.
