Aufstieg in Unternehmen

[Brand] is a brand dedicated to empowering women and promoting gender equality in leadership positions in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (MV), Germany. Our mission is to provide women with the tools, support, and opportunities they need to advance in their careers. Through our new mentoring program, we aim to facilitate the professional growth of women in companies and institutions with business-related structures.

Since its launch in 2013, our cross-mentoring program "Aufstieg in Unternehmen" (Rise in Business) has been instrumental in fostering the career development of women in MV. In 2018, the program was rebranded as "Aufstieg in Unternehmen – Mentoring für Frauen in der Wirtschaft in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern" (Rise in Business - Mentoring for Women in Business in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) and is now under the auspices of the Ministry of Justice, Equality, and Consumer Protection of MV. The program is co-financed by the European Union.

We are currently in the 7th mentoring round, which started on January 1, 2023, and will run until December 31, 2023. Applications are now open for the 8th round, which will take place from January 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.
