## Description

Based in Stöbersberg in the municipality of Rott am Inn, it introduces visitors to goats as curious, sociable companions and promotes thoughtful, species-appropriate goat care. Its experiences range from short goat walks to longer trekking outings, offering participants a chance to watch the herd explore and forage. For people who keep goats or want to learn more, auf Ziegenart provides online learning packages, articles, videos, and a blog covering goat care and life with goats as leisure and walking partners. The site also connects goat enthusiasts through shared learning and projects. Through the Meckermanufaktur, Gitti handcrafts specialised goat halters designed to be practical, durable, comfortable, and loose enough to allow goats to feed. The venture grew from Gitti’s close relationship with her own herd, and its work reflects her belief that animals can foster connections with nature, other people, and oneself.
