## Description

Au Grès du Sud is a pottery and ceramics teaching brand founded by Patricia Bosc, a ceramic artist and instructor based in Solliès-Toucas, in France’s Var region. A graduate of the French Ceramics Institute in Sèvres, Patricia has taught ceramics for more than 25 years, helping learners develop practical skills and confidence through a clear, progressive approach.

The brand offers online courses and in-person workshops for different interests and experience levels. Online programs cover pottery wheel throwing, ceramic techniques from modeling to glazing, decorative finishes, engobes and glazes, and a comprehensive pathway for those considering a professional career in ceramics. Lessons are structured into modules and can be followed at each student’s pace, with personalized support. In-person options include private introductory wheel-throwing sessions, small-group workshops in paper porcelain, and custom workshops tailored to participants’ projects. Au Grès du Sud also shares ceramics tutorials through Patricia’s YouTube channel, which features hundreds of instructional videos. The studio is not open to walk-in visitors; workshop access is by reservation for registered participants.
