## Description

August Equity LLP is a UK private equity investor focused on the lower mid-market. Its approach brings together companies, expertise and resources to create growth and long-term value.

August Equity invests in primary buyouts of businesses headquartered in the UK and Ireland, concentrating on essential services and business-to-business software. The firm seeks high-quality, often off-market opportunities and applies a repeatable growth strategy grounded in deep sector knowledge and an extensive adviser network. Its portfolio-building approach includes platform investments and bolt-on acquisitions.

The firm reports having raised six funds, with more than £1.3 billion in capital raised across AEP I–VI, invested in over 50 platforms and completed more than 200 bolt-on acquisitions across AEP IV–VI. Environmental, social and governance considerations are integrated throughout its investment process, with a focus on material issues and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Principles for Responsible Investment.
