## Description

August Vernon is an American painter from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose work spans private and corporate commissions. He creates large-scale murals, live performance paintings, sports art, portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, and seascapes. Recent work highlights the Pittsburgh skyline in original paintings, alongside prints and giclées.

Through August Vernon Galleries, the artist presents a collection of paintings and drawings built over the past two decades. The gallery also offers archival paper prints and signed giclées, giving collectors access to selected works in addition to original art. Visitors can explore the gallery collection, shop artwork, view media, and keep up with events and news through the gallery’s newsletter.

August Vernon Galleries is located at 3043 Beach Boulevard in Gulfport, Florida, and welcomes visitors Tuesday through Sunday, with hours varying by day; it is closed on Mondays. The gallery can be contacted by email or phone for inquiries. Together, the gallery and shop provide a place to discover Vernon’s varied artistic practice, from commissioned pieces and public-scale murals to paintings inspired by Pittsburgh and other landscapes.
