With a mission to end HIV in Arizona, Aunt Rita's has been actively involved in the cause since its humble beginnings in 1988. They have provided millions of dollars to support HIV programs and function as the Connector of the HIV Community through testing and collaborative initiatives.

Aunt Rita's Foundation works closely with partner agencies such as Ebony House, CAN Community Health, Southwest Behavioral Health Services, and many more. They offer grant funding, distribute free Home HIV oral swap test kits, and provide vouchers for confidential clinical testings. Their signature fundraising events, AIDS Walk Arizona and RED is the Night, bring the community together to commemorate World AIDS Day.

The foundation also plays a crucial role in increasing awareness and education about HIV/AIDS through HIVAZ. ORG and collaborates with the Arizona Department of Health Services. They advocate for the establishment of laws, regulations, and policies to educate, prevent, and treat HIV.
