## Description

Aunty Social is a Blackpool-based community arts organisation founded in 2011. Operating as a Community Interest Company, it helps people develop creativity, learn skills and connect through positive arts activities in a safe, supportive environment. Its projects and groups include the Blackpool Community Darkroom, Blackpool Film Festival, Culture Club, Kilgrimol Crafts and Knittaz With Attitude, alongside creative opportunities such as the BFI Film Academy North West and producer development programmes. Aunty Social also takes part in local events, including Blackpool Creative Market at Christmas and Lightpool, where its work includes The Blackpool Tapestry.

At 28 Topping Street, the organisation runs a collaborative community venue with facilities available for hire. Its lifestyle shop, both in store and online, features carefully selected homewares, fashion and accessories made by more than 60 artists, designers and makers from across the North West. Aunty Social champions independent, locally crafted goods and Blackpool creatives.
