## Description

Aurea Preschool & Nursery is a privately owned early childhood education provider in Wellington, New Zealand, with centres in Kelburn, Newlands and St. Mary’s in Karori. Its centres offer children a safe, welcoming environment where they can feel valued, build confidence and develop a lasting enthusiasm for learning. Aurea’s approach nurtures the whole child through a balance of guided learning and joyful play. Children can develop early literacy and numeracy skills while exploring their creativity, spending time in nature and forming meaningful social connections. The programme is designed to support strong foundations for school and life, with attention to children’s well-being, nutrition, culture and individual growth. Aurea’s name draws inspiration from the native Golden Pōhutukawa and reflects the importance of strong roots, family, heritage and community. The centres are fully licensed and meet Ministry of Education regulations. The team includes experienced educators, with more than 80% holding formal early childhood qualifications and access to ongoing professional development. Aurea serves families across Wellington and offers enrolment information and centre tours.
