## Description

The Auridan Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity founded in loving memory of Auree Sakyiamah, whose experience with pediatric cancer inspired its work. The organization supports children facing cancer and their caregivers, particularly low-income families navigating the social and financial challenges associated with diagnosis and treatment. Its mission is to ease practical burdens so families can focus on a child’s health, care, and well-being.

The foundation offers need-based emergency assistance that may help with essential living expenses, meals, and other qualifying needs. Its programs also include lodging and travel assistance for families seeking treatment away from home, transportation support for medical appointments, prescription co-pay assistance, and guidance connecting caregivers with community programs and financial resources. The organization provides bereavement support and resource guidance to families grieving the loss of a child. Military children receive priority consideration, with other eligible families considered as funding allows. The foundation also works with community partners and supports local community-based projects. Program assistance is subject to funding availability.
