## Description

Aurora Arabian Horse Association (AAHA) is a not-for-profit organization established in 1965 to promote enjoyment of the Arabian horse and build an active, welcoming community for horse enthusiasts. Its mission includes encouraging interest in Arabian horses, supporting their breeding and exhibition, providing educational opportunities, and offering a voice for members at Region 17 meetings and the Arabian Horse Association convention. The organization also works with other Arabian horse associations and encourages youth participation.

AAHA organizes AHA-sanctioned events, including its Aurora All Breed Summer Horse Show. The 2026 show is scheduled for June 4–7 at the Calnash AG Centre in Ponoka, Alberta. Members and visitors can find show information, horse show dates, high point awards, meeting minutes, newsletters, clinics and workshops, and an “Ask the Judge” resource through the association’s website.

AAHA offers adult, youth, and associate membership options. Associate members can attend meetings and receive bulletins, while the association’s volunteer program provides opportunities for young people and others to support its activities.
