## Description

Aurora Eating Disorder Treatment Center, founded by Marissa Sappho in 2015, is a leading destination for healing and recovery for individuals with eating disorders. Inspired by her love for the fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty, Marissa named the center after Princess Aurora, symbolizing renewal and the belief in a new beginning. Aurora Center NYC creates a safe space for those struggling with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and other related concerns. The center's treatment approach combines psychotherapy, nutrition, meal support, yoga therapy, and outpatient groups, along with specialized programs such as recovery reboot and college programs. Aurora also offers family therapy and support, psychiatry and medication management, as well as a wellness store. With a mission to treat each person as an individual and empower them on their journey of recovery, Aurora Center NYC is committed to bringing light into the lives of individuals grappling with eating disorders.
