## Description

Aurora Collaborative is a Rhode Island community nonprofit centered on music, art, and multidisciplinary collaboration. It brings together musicians, artists, writers, and creative thinkers to create performances and community events. Its chamber music program is open to participants of all ages, including students, community members, and professionals, and joining is free. Participants can take part in small ensembles such as duets, trios, and quartets, or form a new group for an event. The Aurora Chamber Orchestra is the organization’s largest ensemble and performs orchestral repertoire spanning a range of styles.

Aurora’s community concerts pair its ensembles with local artists and other creative contributors. Events are held in settings such as libraries, churches, retirement homes, schools, and galleries, with an emphasis on giving back to the communities that host and support them. The organization also shares program notes and reflections through its blog, showcases its activities in a gallery, and invites the public to subscribe to its newsletter.
