## Description

Aurora Math ry is a nonprofit association founded in 2025 and based in Espoo, Finland. Bringing together people with expertise in education, mathematics, science, art, communication and technology, it works to raise the visibility of mathematics and STEM in Finnish society and give children and young people positive learning experiences beyond the classroom. Its activities combine science, creativity and engaging events to help participants see mathematics as relevant, accessible and enjoyable.

Aurora Math runs two main programs. EO STEM Jam is a multilingual, inclusive festival experience that introduces children and families to mathematics, science, technology and creative problem-solving through activities and challenges. In 2024–2025, four Helsinki festivals welcomed more than 400 families and over 600 children and young people. The association also coordinates FIRST LEGO League in Finland, supporting teams, schools, coaches and competitions. Through this international program, children tackle real-world challenges, build and program LEGO robots, and develop research, communication, design and teamwork skills.
