## Description

Aurukun Shire Council is the local government authority serving the community of Aurukun in Queensland. The Council recognises the Wik, Wik Waya and Kugu peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters, and highlights respect, culture, leadership and community as values central to local life.
