## Description

**Brand Description: AusPass**

AusPass is a pioneering initiative supported by AuScope and the Australian National University, dedicated to providing free access to a wealth of seismic data acquired throughout Australia since 1997. With a focus on facilitating knowledge discovery and innovation, AusPass adheres to FAIR data principles, ensuring that its expansive database is accessible and usable for researchers, educators, and the general public. It offers a user-friendly graphical interface and supports standard FDSN requests, allowing users to explore valuable insights into earthquakes and the earth's structure beneath Australia.

The platform adopts community-agreed procedures and protocols established by renowned international seismic data centers, including the Federation of Digital Seismograph Networks (FDSN) and IRIS. AusPass data is shared under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license, empowering users to share and adapt the material freely while providing appropriate credit. With over 10 terabytes of data downloaded monthly across more than 100,000 requests, AusPass stands as a crucial resource for seismic research and education.
