## Description

The Australian Political Studies Association (APSA) serves as a vital professional organization for educators and researchers in Politics and International Relations throughout Australia. With a commitment to promoting scholarly excellence, APSA organizes an annual conference that draws both national and international experts, offering a dynamic platform for early career researchers and postgraduate students to share their work. The association fosters collaboration through conference exchange agreements with several global political science associations, enhancing cross-border dialogues.

APSA also publishes the Australian Journal of Political Science and distributes regular newsletters to its members, while sponsoring workshops to facilitate further learning and development. Recognizing the diverse needs of its membership, APSA hosts various specialist groups and caucuses, including those focused on environmental politics, policy studies, and political theory. Additionally, it actively engages with governmental bodies and promotes inclusivity through dedicated forums like the Women’s Caucus and the First Peoples’ Politics Forum, ensuring a comprehensive approach to the study of political science in Australia.
