Australia Awards is an integral part of Australia’s aid program, offering scholarships that help to build critical skills and knowledge. These awards provide a unique opportunity for the next generation of global leaders to undertake study, research, and professional development in key sectors such as climate change, agriculture, mining, and foreign policy. Managed by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the Australia Awards have provided over 6,000 scholarships to applicants from 52 African countries since 2011.
