## Description

The Australian BASE Association (ABA) is a dedicated community focused on enhancing safety within the thrilling sport of BASE jumping. Comprised of both jumpers and non-jumpers, the ABA champions the interests of the BASE jumping community by promoting best practices, sharing technical information, and advocating for the rights of jumpers, particularly regarding permissions for jumping in National Parks.

The Association is committed to developing a comprehensive 'Code of Ethics' for BASE jumping to ensure a safer and more respectful practice of the sport. Through a range of online platforms, including articles, forums, and message boards, the ABA disseminates crucial safety information, helping jumpers stay informed and connected.

While the ABA works diligently to represent the interests of its members, it recognizes that not all Australian jumpers may engage with the organization. The ABA also conducts annual meetings that encourage member participation and voting, ensuring that its governance reflects the community's diverse perspectives. With a strong focus on safety and ethical practice, the ABA remains a vital resource for the Australian BASE jumping community.
