## Description

Australian Design Centre (ADC) is a leading brand that specializes in contemporary craft and design in Australia. Since its establishment in 1965 as the NSW Crafts Council, ADC has played a crucial role in building a significant design culture in the country. With a focus on nurturing innovative makers and thinkers, ADC encourages individuals to incorporate design into their lives. The brand is dedicated to promoting First Nations art, craft, and design through its Strategic Framework: First Nations Engagement 2023–2027. This framework provides practical and ethical guidelines for the organization, including the Board, staff, creatives, community, audiences, partners, and collaborators. ADC's rich history showcases its adaptability and agility in the craft and design sector. The brand has collaborated and toured extensively, utilizing design criticality, global influences, and Indigenous innovation and technology. To stay connected with ADC, you can subscribe to their monthly newsletter and explore their Design News stories. The brand offers employment opportunities and welcomes new talent to join their team. Additionally, ADC is grateful for the support of its partners and donors, who contribute to the delivery of a diverse creative program. For those looking to host corporate or community events, ADC's gallery space is available for hire. Previous events hosted at the venue include Tropfest, The School of Life, and Interbrand. If you're passionate about craft and design, you can become a volunteer at Australian Design Centre, assisting in gallery operations, exhibition events, public programs, or design work experience placements. ADC invites individuals to reach out with any inquiries they may have and provides comprehensive information about the brand on its website. The brand can also be found on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Vimeo, and Linkedin. Located on Gadigal Land, ADC acknowledges and respects the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation as the traditional owners of the land. Australian Design Centre is committed to maintaining privacy and upholding the highest standards of contact and terms and conditions.
