## Description

The Australian Lebanese Foundation (ALF) is an organisation dedicated to strengthening connections between Australia and Lebanon. It works to foster cultural, academic and student exchange while building understanding and appreciation of both nations. A central part of its work is providing scholarships for Australians of Lebanese heritage who wish to pursue higher education. The Foundation offers information about its scholarship program and makes application forms available through its website.

ALF also supports the Australian-Lebanese community through sponsor partnerships and community engagement initiatives. Its activities include events that bring people together around education, culture and shared connections. The Foundation’s annual scholarship dinner is a key occasion, celebrating its scholarship work and featuring invited speakers. Recent and announced events have included appearances by Professor Nadey Hakim, Professor Nassim Nicholas Taleb and Dr. Fadlo Khuri.

Based at the University of Sydney’s Camperdown Campus, the Australian Lebanese Foundation provides a platform for educational opportunity and exchange, helping strengthen ties between the two countries and the communities connected to them.
