## Description

Auteur Theory is an independent game development studio focused on creating distinctive, signature games. Its featured title, Anord, is a single-player 2.5D science-fiction action RPG platformer set in a post-war world, combining challenging combat, boss encounters, and horror elements. Players take the role of a cyborg awakened in a scientific facility amid a conflict between Sun’s Nation Corporation and rebels fighting for Earth’s freedom. As they explore locations across Earth and space, players can develop a character to suit their preferred approach and help the Rebels resist the corporation.

Anord features 3D visuals, changing day and night, and different weather seasons. Players can choose a combat class, improve abilities, and customize weapons using components found during play. Exploration includes varied settings such as laboratories, churches, abandoned cities, and forests, as well as secrets, quests, and side missions from non-player characters. The game also offers an inventory for weapons, ammunition, components, and other items, along with abilities such as a drone companion.
