Sarah Doran is a U.S. Army aviation veteran, children’s author, and homeschooling mother whose work celebrates military families. Drawing on her childhood in a military family and her service as a Blackhawk helicopter mechanic and crew chief, she creates engaging, educational picture books that portray military life with authenticity. Her stories aim to honor service members, encourage patriotism, and help young readers understand the Armed Forces. Each picture book includes educational resource pages and a STEM activity.
