## Description

AESH & Parent is a French support service founded by Gladys Lauzéat to help families arrange private classroom assistance for autistic children. Drawing on her experience as a mother of an autistic child, Gladys personally guides families seeking a more suitable and dependable schooling arrangement. The service helps identify experienced, caring private AESH professionals, coordinates with the school or educational setting, and provides regular follow-up with both parents and the assistant. It can also connect families with an independent supervising psychologist and arrange a replacement when an assistant is unavailable.

The service is intended for families whose child has an autism diagnosis and an individual MDPH notification; specific conditions apply, including school approval and, in most cases, working through an approved association with psychological supervision. Different arrangements may apply in private schools outside the state system. AESH & Parent also offers an initial discussion to understand a family’s situation, a free guide to finding a private AESH, and articles on autism, education, school transitions, and funding support.
