## Description

AutismHWY is a dynamic online platform launched in 2009, dedicated to fostering awareness, understanding, and acceptance of autism. Founded by KellyG, a passionate advocate and mother of an autistic son, the blog serves as a vibrant community hub where families, educators, and autistic individuals can connect and share their experiences. AutismHWY offers insightful posts that challenge common misconceptions about autism, emphasizing the unique perspectives and rich culture of the autistic community.

The blog also hosts events like the iconic Chalk Festival, promoting free expression and creativity among participants, underscoring the diverse talents within the neurodiverse community. By showcasing various performances, artworks, and innovative ideas, AutismHWY advocates for a world more inclined to embrace and celebrate differences rather than misunderstandings. The goal is to shift the narrative surrounding autism while creating a supportive environment for connections that inspire growth and acceptance. Join the journey on AutismHWY to explore a universe of thought, creativity, and empowerment!
