## Description

Automotive Zorg is a small-scale day-activity provider based in Leeuwarden, serving adults aged 18 and over who have a physical and/or intellectual disability and an interest in technology. Established in Leeuwarden in 2016, the organisation offers a welcoming workshop where participants can learn, meet others and work with their hands, whether they already have technical experience or are simply curious.

Activities include maintaining and repairing scooters and mopeds, working on cars and other practical automotive projects, and building model kits through tasks such as assembling, gluing, painting and finishing. Staff provide personal guidance tailored to each participant, helping them work at their own pace and break projects into manageable steps. Together, participants and staff agree on suitable activities and a weekly rhythm, with an emphasis on practical learning, confidence and working alongside others.

Beyond workshop-based day activities, Automotive Zorg provides ambulatory support with everyday structure, practical tasks at home and greater independence.
