## Description

AVA Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense academy located at 7232 San Ramon Road in Dublin, California. It welcomes students of all skill levels and presents training as a way to build not only practical skills, but also resilience, empathy, confidence, and a sense of community. Its programs include children’s classes focused on coordination, discipline, and respect; adult classes featuring structured technique, sparring, and progressive belt training; and private, one-on-one coaching tailored to individual goals, including competition preparation.

Led by head instructor Prof. Felipe Junior, a black belt with more than two decades of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu experience, the academy uses a structured class format. Sessions include a warm-up, instructor-guided technique, controlled sparring, and a cool-down. AVA’s philosophy centers on friendship, truth, and belonging, creating a welcoming environment for students and families. The academy offers classes throughout the week, including Saturday, and invites prospective students to contact the team or book a visit. Its website also promotes a free Gi for people who join.
