## Description

Avalon Biomedical is a Hong Kong-based healthcare innovation group founded in 2013. The company works to develop and deliver biomedical technologies that can improve lives, partnering with investors and industry organizations to support innovators from academic research and funding through to commercialization and market entry. Its work is centered in the Greater Bay Area, a growing innovation and technology hub in Southern China, where its management team collaborates with biomedical technology specialists to advance healthcare solutions.

Avalon’s strategic focus spans four areas: public health and infection control, diagnostic platforms, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. Through these areas, the group aims to help address pressing medical needs with solutions designed for quality and reliability. Its activities include supporting the development and commercialization of diagnostic technologies; a company-related automated multiplex diagnostics system has been recognized in the World Health Organization’s Compendium of Innovative Health Technologies for Low-Resource Settings. Avalon also invites investors, partners, and career applicants to engage with its work, reflecting its collaborative approach to bringing biomedical innovations toward practical use.
