## Description

A.V.C. ’69, or Akkrumer Volleybal Club 1969, is a volleyball club based in Akkrum, the Netherlands. Founded in 1969, the club celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019 and is one of the larger volleyball associations in the surrounding area, with around 200 members. Its teams welcome players across a broad range of ages and abilities, including women’s, men’s, youth and mini-volleyball groups. The youngest players can take part in Cool Moves Volleybal (CMV), while recreational teams offer another way to enjoy the sport. Competitive levels vary widely: the women’s first team plays in the third division, while other women’s teams compete in lower classes; the men’s teams range from the second division to the fourth class. A.V.C. ’69 organizes team participation in scheduled matches and shares fixtures, results, news and club information with members and visitors. The club also provides information for prospective members, youth players and sponsors. Its home venue is the Utingeradeelhal in Akkrum, where many of its home matches are played.
