## Description

A.V.D.A. (Associazione Volontari per i Diritti degli Animali) is a volunteer organization dedicated to animal rights and welfare, based in Genoa, Italy. Founded in 1993 by 18 volunteers from the city’s municipal kennel, the association supports animals living at the facility and works to help animals in need more broadly. Its activities include welcoming volunteers who can contribute their time to care for abandoned dogs, including providing meals and cleaning. A.V.D.A. invites people who love animals but cannot keep a dog or cat at home to help through hands-on volunteering. Supporters can also contribute financially by donating online through PayPal or by allocating five per thousand of their income tax to the association. The organization provides information about its work, volunteering, membership, donations, events, and animal-related topics through its website. It also offers a shop and gadgets section. A.V.D.A. is registered as a volunteer organization, and its website lists its Genoa legal address and tax code for those wishing to support its work.
