## Description

AVES Parma is a volunteer association supporting people with haemophilia and related bleeding disorders, known in Italian as emofilici e similemofilici, and their families. Based in Parma, the organisation works to foster autonomy and improve quality of life through practical assistance, education, emotional support and community activities. Its services include a listening and support point for patients and relatives, a family group offering educational guidance and peer exchange, and a psycho-pedagogical service available by Skype, email or phone. AVES Parma also provides an autoinfusion course to help participants manage home treatment independently, and a neurological rehabilitation project for patients with neurological damage using the Bobath technique. Its wider initiatives use sport, theatre, music and storytelling to encourage inclusion, expression and connection, including running events, theatrical workshops, the Radio E.M.O. podcast and the video podcast E mo m’ascolti. The association shares information and guides about haemophilia, welcomes new members and invites the public to support its work and research.
