Alburgh Volunteer Fire Department, located in Alburg, VT, is a non-profit organization made up of dedicated volunteers. Our volunteers selflessly commit countless hours to providing essential EMS and firefighting services in our community, without expecting any monetary compensation. Whether it's the middle of the night, early morning hours, or even during holidays, we are always there, 24/7/365.

Our team is led by a group of committed officers, including Chief Ron Kumetz, 1st Asst Chief Tyler Gotshall, 2nd Asst. Chief Skipper Deyo, Fire Captain Bill Gett, and EMS Captain Chuck Pease. We believe in continuous training to ensure that our members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to handle any situation.

In addition to our core services, we provide water deliveries for wells on a time-available basis, and we host various fundraisers throughout the year to alleviate the financial burden on our department. We greatly appreciate the generous donations we receive from our community. Alburgh Volunteer Fire Department serves as a vital pillar of our community, safeguarding lives and property.
