AVMA, the American Veterinary Medical Association, is a national not-for-profit association that advocates for and advances the interests of all veterinary professionals. As a collective voice for member veterinarians and the veterinary profession as a whole, AVMA offers a wide range of benefits to its members. AVMA provides information resources, state and federal advocacy, and opportunities to address issues and affect policies that govern the profession and practice of veterinary medicine.

With a dedicated staff of over 160 employees, AVMA values and invests in the growth and development of its talented workforce. Guided by an 18-member volunteer Board of Directors and operating with a budget of over $30 million annually, AVMA is headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois.
