## Description

Av-og-til is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the harmful effects of alcohol consumption. Our aim is to raise awareness about situations where alcohol can pose a risk or be particularly harmful to others. We focus on various areas such as traffic, boating and swimming, sports and outdoor activities, pregnancy, being in the company of children and youth, work-related situations, and times of personal crisis.

Supported by political parties, unions, governmental and non-governmental organizations, totaling 46 in number, Av-og-til brings together diverse perspectives to address the issue of alcohol harm. While our members may not always agree on everything, they all stand united in their support to minimize the detrimental effects of alcohol and promote greater alcohol awareness.

Headquartered in Oslo, our day-to-day activities are coordinated by a dedicated secretariat led by General Secretary Ragnhild Kaski. We collaborate closely with 58 municipalities in Norway and several organizations that actively contribute to our campaigns. Our activities are funded through state public financing and members' fees.
