## Description

ProVeg Portugal is an organisation working to make Portugal’s food system healthier, more compassionate and sustainable. Its mission is to support a fairer balance for people and the planet by encouraging food choices based on plants. The organisation collaborates with decision-makers, public institutions, businesses, other organisations, influencers and the wider public to advance this work.

ProVeg Portugal offers practical information and resources, including recipes, e-books, reports, nutrition guidance and food-safety materials. Its articles cover topics such as nutrition, health, seasonal foods and sustainable eating. Through initiatives such as the Veggie Challenge, events, webinars and community membership, it helps people explore plant-based choices and take part in change. The organisation also works on collective catering, plant-protein strategies and projects funded by the European Union, partnering with institutions and companies to develop healthier, more sustainable and resilient food-system solutions. Visitors can learn about its projects and impact, attend events, join the community, subscribe to its newsletter or donate.
