## Description

AVU is a nonprofit innovation hub focused on aging and based in Mexico City. Its foundation works to combat age discrimination, isolation, and depression among older adults through intergenerational initiatives, promoting a society that values people of every age. AVU advises companies on implementing intergenerational programs, designs initiatives with international partners, and delivers projects intended to create sustainable, scalable benefits for older people. Its work spans active and healthy aging, digital literacy, employment inclusion, and the silver economy.

AVU’s programs include AVU Conecta, which provides daily phone calls, and AVU Domicilio, which supplies groceries and other items. Centro Vivo focuses on designing residences for older adults, while AVU Kids connects children and teenagers with the subject of aging. Geroinclusión promotes older people’s human rights and challenges stereotypes. Other initiatives include AVU Link for social and workplace inclusion, a telephone membership supporting cognitive development and health, and AVU Academy’s training in entrepreneurship and innovation for aging.
