## Description

Awaiting the Stork is a fertility, pregnancy and postpartum advice and product-guidance site founded by Mindy Motta, FNP-C, and her husband, Rodrigo. Mindy is a board-certified nurse practitioner who has worked in obstetrics and gynecology since 2012, including at Scripps Coastal Medical Center since 2014. Drawing on her clinical experience and six-year journey trying to conceive, she offers practical guidance for people navigating fertility treatment, pregnancy, recovery and early parenting.

The site publishes articles and guides written or reviewed by Mindy, covering topics such as ovulation tracking, IUI and IVF preparation, pregnancy-safe skincare, nutrition, symptoms, breastfeeding and postpartum recovery. Its product recommendations span fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and baby-care essentials, with each page explaining what a product may do and who might want to avoid it. The site also features affirmation candles made with soy wax. Awaiting the Stork aims to provide clear, clinically informed advice and honest product picks without a sales-driven tone. It earns commissions on qualifying Amazon purchases and discloses this relationship.
